Sunnycove Citrus - Featured Grower for Bouquet of Fruits Gift Fulfillment Center

Sunny Cove Citrus Association, located in Orange Cove, California, was created in 1974 with a commitment to quality and service. Today, the legacy of quality and service proudly continues as Sunny Cove Citrus, LLC.

Sunny Cove Citrus is a grower-owned LLC operating as an orange packer/shipper from the east side of the Central San Joaquin Valley. The facility, now 170,000 square feet on 11 acres of property, is centrally located to the ports of Oakland (200 miles to the north) and Long Beach (200 miles to the south).

The orange acreage contracted for packing at Sunny Cove comes from all of the major production areas in the San Joaquin Valley, including Maricopa in the south to Madera in the north.

Our orange season begins with the Navel variety in October through June, and the Valencia variety from March through October.

Sunny Cove Citrus is the largest private employer in the City of Orange Cove, CA, employing 210 production people, supervisors and managers at the peak of the season.

The equipment in our plant is state-of-the-art. We have one of only two x-ray graders in California. It is used to separate granulation and frost damage. We are also the beta site for Autoline's newest technology in grading and sizing. This system is called the Prosort 3. Our current production facility will allow us to reach our 5-year goal of 3 million cartons. The square footage and sweat room capacity is large enough to grow our business to 5 million total cartons.

We are a Certified Food Safety Operation with regular internal and quarterly third-party audits to ensure the quality and safety of our product to the consumer.

We recently constructed a drenching facility for field harvested bins (new technology for California), and a commercial truck scale to provide certified weight services for haulers needing certified axle weights.

Sunny Cove Citrus has been in business for over 3 decades. We have a plan for growth and continued success, which will focus our efforts on quality production and service, thereby making Sunny Cove Citrus the model of success for the industry. Currently, we have exceeded our year-to-year plan. We look forward to a strong future with the partnership of our growers and customers.
